Current-schema mapping: quality_score is the editorial score, the active Source Ledger average is trust, and rating_count is popularity. Popularity is min–max normalized inside each category; equal popularity receives a neutral 50. Verification receives 100 points through day 90, then decays linearly to zero at day 365.

How are NeoBankDude award winners calculated?

Eligible apps receive 55% from editorial quality, 25% from source trust, 10% from normalized popularity, and 10% from verification recency.

Can a category have fewer than three eligible apps?

No award is issued unless at least three active, human-approved apps have an editorial score in that category.

Can a sponsor buy an award?

No. Listings and affiliate relationships do not appear in the award formula or tie-break rules.

How are ties resolved?

Higher trust score wins first, followed by the more recent verification date, then a stable slug order.
